I have avoided most of the common behavioral problems with PET parrots by doing my best to have a routine of a routine unstructured. Let me elaborate. Household Cleaners Can Cause Breathing Problems in Pet Birds and Even Lead to Death

Over the past four months my pet cockatiel grey had respiratory problems after visiting my mom's house. We had it for about seven years. I could not figure out what the problem would have been, because my little bird never had trouble breathing before.

The my first gray cockatiel could not breath very well was three days after we had visited mom. When my birds were concern by a blue jay flew through the living room window, which caused wild to fly in a circle. I went to catch my birds, and my friend collapsed gray in my hands. My poor bird was panting very hard. I was terribly concerned about my little friend. He had never before. He could hardly stand up and was panting in the same time. I was not sure whether my grey cockatiel was heated, so I him and my other little bird into the bathroom to give them a spray mist fog bath.

The Bad stopped breathing my precious friend. I was relieved, but he was still very weak standing. I brought him and my other bird in the bedroom and my gray bird in his cage and my pied cockatiel in his own cage. I close the doors cage my other birds would not try to play with him. I wanted my little friend to rest and let my gray bird recuperate.

I sleep by him for the rest of the day and night. The next morning, he was much better. He was stronger and ate more food. I thought I would wait one week before I brought my birds back to see my mother again.

Things were different the last few months earlier to my mom's house because they needed a live-in nurse help take care of them. A few months earlier, they fell, and her left arm broken in three places and broke her left hip. She was in a nursing home and was finally released to go home because they do not eat. Fortunately, she had the means to hire a live-nurse.

After in a few weeks passed, I have my birds to see mother again. But my poor little gray cockatiel had the same breath attack after flying in my apartment living room. And that happened three days to go to mom's house.
